We do not do outside catering at this time. However, we regularly prepare bulk quantities of food for customer pickup. We provide chafing dishes and other utensils for self-catering. This is very popular and much cheaper than using a caterer, plus you have our great food. Please call and talk to a manager if you are interested.
We plan to offer full outside catering services at some point in the future.
Not yet, but we plan to do so in our new restaurants.
We serve real food prepared after you place your order. The major fast food chains pre-prepare some or all of the items on their menu to give fast service. You can taste the difference. Although we are a bit slower, given our food quality, we are still pretty quick.
Depends on the size of the order. If it is a big order for a group of people, please call it in. If it is a fairly small order, just order when you get here. One risk with phone orders is that you will pick up the items some time after they have been made and the quality will not be the same.
Our philosophy is that if we have the ingredients, we will try to make your order any way you would like. We will also put different orders in individual bags by name if we have the information. Of course, the more complicated you make the order, the more likely we might not get it exactly the way you want it (although it should still taste pretty good). We suggest you always check your order before going too far away, and we do not care if you check your order in the drive thru before driving off.
Yep. We have an extensive diet and health food section of our menu. However, if you are watching your weight, you still need to not overeat. Our portions are very large and are designed for sharing and taking home leftovers. You can eat everything on our menu and maintain your weight if you do not eat too much of it. We offer half and smaller sizes of many items for this purpose. We also suggest that people share items and plan to take home leftovers. All of our restaurants have carryout containers for customer pick up. Even though our food is delicious, try to stop eating before you feel very full.
7. Does Chacho's provide nutritional information ?
Not yet, but we are working on this.
Depends on where you live. If you live in San Antonio, we are planning on opening three new restaurants in San Antonio in the next eighteen months. We also plan to open more restaurants in Houston soon and restaurants in Austin in the near future. We then plan to steadily open additional restaurants elsewhere. If you live in a city some distance from these areas, it may be some time before we get to you but we should eventually get there. Of course, if you live in rural areas of lesser populated states, there will never be a Chacho's close to you. If you really like Chacho's, consider moving.
| Chacho's does not franchise and has no plans to do so in the foreseeable future. See the information on franchising in the investment section. |
Not at this time. There should be opportunities in the future. See the investment section.
No. It is independently owned in San Antonio.
We make a very concerted effort to prevent the consumption of alcohol by minors in our restaurant. Requiring our customers drinking alcohol to wear wristbands helps accomplish this goal in several ways. First, it reminds our cashiers to check IDs. Second, it easily enables us to see if a minor obtains an alcoholic drink from someone of age. Finally, it indicates to everyone that we really are serious about preventing the sale of alcohol to minors.
Again, we want to be very careful to ensure that we are always in full compliance with the state laws governing alcohol sales. To ensure that we do not sell alcohol after 2am, we stop selling alcohol 30 minutes early. Please do not ask us to violate this policy.
The only way to absolutely ensure that we will not serve minors is to not allow minors in the restaurant. Although we obviously do not like to do this, we sometime believe we must do this to ensure minors do not consume alcohol on our premises.
The state alcoholic beverage laws prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages to intoxicated persons. Accordingly, at the first signs of intoxication we stop selling alcohol to that customer. This protects the customer and others who may come into contact with this customer.
The state alcoholic beverage laws prohibits restaurants from selling margaritas to go To prevent this, we do not provide to go cups to customers who have ordered margaritas.
